Game 2 of the second edition of the WPL 2024 will feature a clash between Royal Challengers Bangalore women (BAN-W) and UP Warriorz women (UP-W) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore on Saturday, February 24. RCB-W had a season to forget in 2023, failing to reach the knockout stages of the competition. The Smriti Mandhana-led side crashed out of the group stages and will hope to do better. 

On the other hand, UP Warriorz made it to the knockout stages of the WPL in its inaugural season, and finished in third place, but crashed out of the tournament after they lost the eliminator to eventual champions Mumbai Indians women.
