Mumbai (MUM) and Rajasthan (RJS) will be taking on each other in the 14th match of the ITL 2024. It will be the first home game for Mumbai in the season as they will be playing at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The 5-time champions are yet to win a match in the ongoing league. While they have been competitive in both matches, the win has seemed to be reaching out of their hands. On the other hand, Rajasthan have had a good tournament till now.

The inaugural champions have convincingly won both of their matches. Against Lucknow, they scored 193 runs and won by 20 runs. Against Delhi, they achieved a 12-run win. While Mumbai is yet to play a home game, Rajasthan is yet to play a game outside their home. It will be their first match away from home. Since 2018, Rajasthan has been one of the fewest teams to have a better record than Mumbai. They would be hoping to continue the same come the game against Mumbai at Wankhede Stadium.

Wankhede Stadium Pitch Report

The match is set to take place at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The pitch has been very good for batting. The bowlers do get some assistance from the pitch. The Pacers have some seam on offer and due to the proxiMumbaity of the stadium to the sea, there Might be some early swing. The spinners might be able to get some spin from the surface in the first innings.

In the second innings, Dew might play a key role, which might make batting easier. The stadium has short boundaries and the batters enjoy batting in the Mumbaiddle. With the progression of the match, the wicket might get better to bat on. Even 200 is not a safe total at Wankhede, which would force the batters to go hard from the beginning. Toss Mumbaight be a crucial factor.
