Nellai Royal Kings (NRK) and Chepauk Super Gillies (CSG) are set to square off against each other in match no.4 of the ongoing Tamil Nadu Premier League 2024 on July 7, 2024, at the SCF Cricket Ground in Salem.

Kings finished the last season of the tournament as the runner-ups as they lost to Lyca Kovai Kings in the finals. The Arun Karthik-led side will be gearing up for their first game of the competition and will be in the mindset of lifting the trophy this time around.

On the other hand, the Chepauk-based franchise played the curtain raiser of the tournament and suffered a 13-run defeat against the defending champions. The Baba Aparajith-led side won the toss and elected to field first. Lyca Kovai Kings managed to score 141 runs in their allotted 20 overs, with the help of Balasubramaniam Sachin’s knock of 63 runs. In reply, CSG faced a batting collapse and finished at the score 128/6, falling 13 runs short of the target.
