Delhi Capitals (DC-W) are all set to host Royal Challengers Bangalore (BAN-W) in Match 17 of the ongoing Women’s Premier League 2024 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi, on Sunday, March 10.

Delhi, who are leading the six-team points table, are coming off a narrow one-run defeat against UP Warriorz. They made a dismal start in the tournament, losing the curtain-raiser against defending champions Mumbai Indians in Bengaluru. 

However, the Meg Lanning-led side then staged a terrific comeback, winning the next four games. Bangalore, on the other hand, are also enjoying a successful campaign, having won three and losing as many games thus far.

The surface at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi was generally known to produce slow and low wickets. However, it underwent a major transformation before the 2023 ODI World Cup and the wickets have turned into batters paradise. Therefore, a high-scoring encounter can be expected on this ground.
